Converting liters to US gallons those epoxy prices are only a little higher than over here. About $24/L for "premium" brands. If my calculations are correct 5.6 oz/yd twill would be the equivelant. I am paying about $6.80/yd in 60" width which works out to about $4.90/M2 I think that Epoxi technique today is rather well known. It shouldn't be any major difference between big brands and the more unknown. If I got it right bast prices in UK is much lower??? The glass weave differe a hole lot.... Morgan O. |

It may be due to the weakness of our US $ but since a few months we
get more orders from Europe at our online sto http://www.boatbuildercentral.com/ Even with shipping, our epoxy and glass prices are lower BUT before you jump on what looks like a good deal, check import duties. I would say that once all taxes are paid, prices in Europe and North America are very close. Jacques from bateau.com |
