Solo Stripper Designs

I couldn't talk the wife into a S&G Osprey II.... She wants another
stripper so I am trying to decide what to build for her this time.

She wants:
Solo cedar strip canoe
Under 35 pounds (assume 4oz glass)
Single paddle, kneeling position (eliminates Wee Lassie style designs)
Able to handle 250+ pounds fully loaded (tent, sleeping bag, food,
etc.)
Fairly short - she already has a 16' cedar strip Prospector.
Use will be mostly western NY finger lakes, small streams, and an
occassional ADK trip.

Leading candidates so far are the John Winters Osprey and the Laughing
Loon Solo Portage.

Are there any others that I should look at? Plans built only, no
kits. I don't need patterns, offsets are fine.
