truck-motor

Hi,
anyone has experience in converting a truck motor (pegaso) into a
marine-type thing?? I would like to couple it onto a reversing clutch
(of wich i dont know the details yet, but its a big one) and than look
for the appropriate propeller...?
It's for a 22m old fishing boat
greetings,
bart

At a minimum you'll need:
USCG approved electrical components and flame arrestor
Corrosion protection
Water cooled exhaust manifolds
Oil and transmission coolers
Wet exhaust components
etc.

You can probably buy a rebuilt marine engine for less money and
trouble.
