Boat building takes on new proportions with S & G

Boat builder by trade, Stefan Auer and artist/boat & sign letter,
Gabrielle Rogers have taken boat building to new proportions with
their ships in bottles. Working in almost the same manner as those
old salts, they are perfecting a craft that is practiced by few, with
hopes of keeping the tradition alive and sharing the magic and wonder
of ships in bottles.

What's even better is, their models are all handcrafted and the most
recent of the models completed have as much detail as possible for
such tiny crafts. Generally, the hull of the ships range from 1 1/2
inches to about 4 1/2 inches (largest completed to date). Many are
finished with figure heads, cleats, winches, dinghies, anchors,
cannons, and much more. It's almost unimaginable what these two
talented crafters have accomplished.

So, check out their website and see for yourself. www.shipinbottles.com

If you like what you see add S & G Ships in Bottles on facebook or
myspace (check the "interesting links" page on the website for the
URL).

Gabrielle handles the website and enjoys speaking with anyone and
answering questions. Inquire about how you can get your very own ship
in bottle. Request a gift that can't be matched for that special
sailor in your life, a custom replica of their own boat in a bottle.
