Hello
looking to do a fancy edge on 1 inch pine from the box stores. This wood is really 3/4 inch wide. The router bit catalogs all list 'height' or "carbide height". Does this include the roller on these bits? What sort of 'height' do I want for 3/4 wide wood? paul - |

You can make lots of various "fancy" edges using a cove and/or a round over bit used either as a stand alone or in combination.. If you mount the router in a table and use a fence, you can remove the pilot bearing on a cove bit and get an attractive edge. Have fun. Lew What kind of an edge are you trying to develop? |
