Default Obama falters before debates

Senator Obama has foregone his duties to the country to take 3 days to
prepare for the upcoming Presidential debates while America tailspins into
financial disaster. Obama, whose strength is in front of a teleprompter
delivering prescripted oratory is at a serious disadvantage when left to his
own wits against a 72 year old suffering dementia. Obama, fearing that the
delay in the debate could minimize the benefits of intensive preparation,
called for the debates to go on as scheduled. McCain has called for Obama to
join him and do the work that they were elected to do, much to the
displeasure of Obama and other leading Democrats. "We won't get elected into
office unless the American people are suffering and miserable", said one
Democratic source who asked to remain anonymous, "we want Fannie and Freddie
to have the financial resources to continue to fund Democratic candidates"
the source continued. Asked when the pending legislation would be finished
the source said, "not until after the election when we can really save the
American people and what a wonderful Christmas present it will be".
