I agree, that's so disgraceful giving credence to anybody who acts like some psycho nut case. Hey, if you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen. Nobody made you join the military. The United States won the war in 3 1/2 weeks - attempting to make them civilized is asinine. Back out all the troops, dispose of munitions by launching them from the border, and let them sort themselves out. They have a democracy in Iraq (by ludicrous "American" standards) meaning they can elect their own dirt bags. Like in the U.S. The U.S. doesn't like the dirt bags that were elected. Hhahahahahahahaha - same in "Palestine" and Lebanon. Worse is coming. Can't argue with your logic. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right is a truism. The Iraq war was definitely worth doing and had the wholehearted sanction of the U.S. Congress. Even all but one or two Democrats were on the bandwagon. Where we fell short was in the doing it right. PC reared it's ugly head. Doing it right would have entailed doing what we did in the first month. Then we should have withdrawn completely along the borders and secured them. Then we should have let the disparate factions duke it out. If we didn't like the outcome we should have then bombed the winners out of existence and then let them have at it again until some semblance of a civilized and secure winner emerged. Then and only then we go back in and set up a permanent military base paid for with Iraqi oil along with cheap oil in the future until all military spending on the war was reimbursed. That's the way a man would have handled it. Wimps did it the way we saw it done. -- Gregory Hall |

If you listen to the bed wetters, "Bush is a Nazi" which is just the opposite to the truth. The PC baloney is why the U.S. is history. Where's Truman or MacArthur when we need them. It's refreshing to know there's more than me out here who think we're wimps.... I'm all for killing the terrorists who attacked us both at home and overseas but Saddam was NOT one of them. Just the opposite. He may have disagreed with us on Israel but he was one of the biggest secular bulwarks against our real enemy, radical Islam, in the middle east. Al qaeda even had a price on his head. If Bush had been president when the Japs hit Pearl Harbor he no doubt would have diverted military and intel assets away from Japan and invaded Russia or Austrailia instead. The Iraq war makes almost as much sense. One writer suggested that we could "win" in Iraq by cutting off the bad guys supplies of weapons and ammo just like we did to Germany. Good plan - except that we were forced to hand them enough stuff to fight indefinately because Blundering Bush didn't give the military enough manpower to secure Saddam's ammo dumps let alone keep museums and all from being looted. That's where all the IEDs came from. Saddam Hussein was a terrorist - end of argument. You lose! Your problem, like most rabid Bush haters, is you confuse even yourself with all your extraneous bull**** liberal talking points. Now run along you little chicken ****. That yellow streak up your back bothers my eyes. -- Gregory Hall |

I was not in Cambodia but some U.S. military personnel were there. Yet, there is NO OFFICIAL record of any military personal being there. Try to make a disability claim based on the fact that you were exposed to something or disabled in Cambodia and no official records will exist that this was the case. Some things, for national security reasons, are kept hushed up and rightly so. You are correct to state that one does not swear an oath on a top secret clearance. I never stated that I did. One is often required to swear an oath of secrecy as to the mission and the whereabouts of the mission, however. If you aren't aware of this FACT they you are the poseur. Now, run along. Some of us were working in top secret places on top secret projects or missions. AFAIK everybody who has/had a clearance had to sign sich a nondisclosure agreement but that reminds me of a funny story a SEAL 1 vet related. When stateside in San Diego they used to play games with the recon marines from Pendleton, trying to infiltrate each others' places just for drill. The local IRS decided that they couldn't have their out-of-country tax exemption unless they disclosed all foreign countries they'd visited, which of course they couldn't do. So IRS decided to seize one SEAL's fancy car and got all dressed up in combat costumes to make a sneak raid. Not only did they get caught but the team thot they were marines! But after water boarding, duct taping and tossing them into a pool, and some tad less pleasant entertainments during which the captives didn't act much like marines, they had to let them go ..... Of course nothing like this ever happened - it's just silly a story g. Of course it is just a silly story. Recon Marines never raided/got raided by any SEAL type persons. Just couldn't happen. Especially not the ammo dumps. WHY, that would be stealing. LOL Mark E. Williams |
