We had the same here in Yachats last week, 45 sustained with gusts in
the 90's for three days. Lost a few trees, fortunately the one that
landed on the house was small and caused no damage. We were without
power for 30 hours but candle light worked well and cooked in the
fireplace. We also pulled out the guitars and told great stories.
All in all we faired much better than our neighbors to the north.

Then we heard that Daman was headed for Fiji! Another good turn of
events when she stayed north and Arabella is still sitting pretty in
Vuda Point.
