JUST PAINTED THE OARS with expensive paint. I went outside to make
sure no bugs had gotten onthem and they are covered with black cat
hair. If I didnt like cats, there'd be one less on earth tonight.

I bet it wasn't as expensive as the paint I used on my oars.... lest
you think I'm bragging, let me explain that it was appliance epoxy in
a spray can, what made it expensive was repainting my neighbor's car.

The oars on my dinghy also need a little work. I'll have my crew work
on them.

I'm Horvath and I approve of this post.

Yikes, epoxy spray on a car, that'll ruin your day. Drive an old
truck and then it doesnt matter, probably an improvement too.

Always use a white cat to paint.

If I start with black cats they become white cats.

You can use black cats you just have to dip them more thoroughly.

He was PO'd all right. And that appliance epoxy is tough stuff,
compound would barely touch it.

Drive an old
truck and then it doesnt matter, probably an improvement too.

Except for the windshield ;)

Xylol is usually a better solvent for partially-cured epoxy, although
vinegar works very well up to the "green cure" stage.

tried everything up & including wetsanding & repainting, which I had
to pay somebody else to do the final steps. PITA and a delay I did not
need for other ongoing jobs. However your neighbors goodwill is worth
soemthing and he won't park his car there again ;)

It makes one wonder, where did the cat pad off to
afterwards--visions of my white convertible top
covered with cat prints.
