Scotty Loves His Boat
 

Or he likes it. He's fond of saying it and does so quite a bit.

So what's the problem with that? Well, while everyone talks about
being too materialistic, folks like Scotty, Sloco and Jeff are more
interested in plugging their boats like rising porn stars than
actually enjoying the sail. For these clowns it's ALL about their
boats, even for poor Scotty.

I, on the other hand, always talk about how nice our sails are, fun
with Thomas and friends and meetings with other boats. It's ALL about
the sailing for us. We don't care about whose boat really cost more or
how far we can sail. That's not what it's all about. If you want to
travel, join a travel group and go.

Alt.sailing.asa is about sailing and Heart of Gold is one of the few
vessels here to actually see regular use.

If anyone wants to come for a short daysail tomorrow we have room for
two more! Leaving the dock at 1:30, returning at about 6:00. After
that we're dropping people off and sailing somewhere to sleep and have
Sunday breakfast aboard.
