Breakfast Sail

Set out at 7:45 am to raft up with friends for breakfast near Capri
Yacht Club. Weather has been stunning!
Sailing again tomorrow afternoon aboard a J35 that needs a new main.
The current sail is rather deeply cut and I want to see how it sets
before building the new cruise-radial.
Anyway....gorgeous weather and a pretty F40 sweeps past....

I couldn't see the F40 very well. That big fat gut on the helmsman
blocked the view. And what's with the mainsail not being up? I'd be
embarrassed to show a video that says, "Fat incompetent sailor on a slow
boat."

The helmsman is a former air force captain and recently bought a
Santana GP 30. I didn't notice his gut because I usually don't look at
guy's bodies. The main is down because we're headed for a raft-up with
another boat close by, an obvious fact that you were too dumb to pick
up on. No point in full sail until after breakfast and we were still
40 minutes early anyway. We had a great sail and the weather was
superb!
You have no title for your sailing videos because you have no boat to
sail or camera to shoot them with, Mister Sockpuppet!

Of course. We met our friends at 10:30 and had a nice late breakfast.
At about 11:00 we both raised sail and spent about 4 hours sailing. We
were back in our slip by 3:30, but Thomas had fallen asleep in the aft
cabin. So we hung out on board for a bit before waking him. We got
home and fired up the grill for some drumsticks and salmon...a tough
combo to time out! Thomas is sleeping now and I'm waiting to watch a
good fight in high def on my 10 foot wide front projection screen.
Suzanne likes boxing now, "almost as much as baseball" she says! We'll
watch together and after that...it'll be even more fun for the two of
us.
Yep. We had a average day.

Meanwhile.....

Scotty woke up at 7:00 this morning to the sound of two roosters
killing his dog. He pushed his bulky body away from his wife as she
drooled a mix of Oreos and Jack Daniels onto her pillow. After a bowl
of Shoprite-Brand Fruity O's, Scotty decided he should get more of the
tires in the front yard burned and piled up three of them for a good
rubber roast.
By 11:00 am Scotty's wife snorted out of her sleep-apnia slumber,
complaining of the rubber smell, which Scotty prefered over her Edy's
Cocoa Ice Cream farts from her breakfast.
By 2:00 Scotty had finally fixed the 1985 Sears lawnmower. The lawn
was little more than a crushed aray of fridge doors and chicken wire,
but it was good to hear the little motor running again. He decided to
reward himself with a can of Meister Brau from the "last surviving
case" bought from 7-11 in 1987. Good stuff.
By 4:30 Scotty was online downloading porn onto his 486 DX2-50 Compaq
computer. He slapped the monitor a few times to get the color back.
6:00 and dinnertime, Scotty's wife returned in a better than typical
mood with a large tub of KFC in tow. She put a leg and thigh on a
cardboard plate for him and took the remaining 23 pieces, including
all of the mash potatoes and 6 biscuits, into the bedroom.
At 7:00 Scotty saw my post and could only comment that my "Breakfast
sail" was....over too soon after lunch? Before dinner?

Yeah. Something like that.
