Some say Macs can't do blue water.

Macs do blue water all the time. Here's more proof of how Mac sailors
sail in some pretty rough areas. Circumnavigating islands with the
Pacific Ocean all the way to Japan on the west side of them.

Cruising log of the Murrelet. http://www.eskimo.com/
~mighetto/murrelet.htm Be sure to click on all the tabs on top of the
page. This site is a wealth of sailing information even the most
experienced sailors could use to improve themselves.

Here's a guy who obviously is an experienced and very savy sailor. You
can tell he's happy with and proud of his Mac. I bet you can't find a
site anywhere on the Web about some dumb PDQ catamaran. Anybody can
spend lots of money. Mac owners spend modest money and wisely. They
obviously have a better time than people with half a million dollar
boats.

Sailing is NOT about searching the web
just BUY a Mac and SAIL it

I looked at it and it's pathetic. What did I get out of that site. I got
that the guy is bored. There's no happiness and no enthusiasm. The
boat's the master of the man and not vice versa like it's supposed to
be. When you sail a Mac you feel in control. When you sail some big
heavy wide boat like the PDQ you feel like you're just along for the
ride with no options and no feel or feedback. Might as well stay home.

I've sailed a Mac26X plenty. I even did a circumnavigation of South
America with my old Mac. Well, sort of a half-circumnavigation. The
waves were to big down around the Straits of Magellan. Now, I'm biding
my time looking for that ultimate bargin. I'm thinking maybe I can get
one donated so somebody can write it off at bluebook value against his
taxes. It could be donated to the Church of the Veridican.

So PDQ websites don't exist because the first one I found and linked you to
you find "boring" and "pathetic." Glad to see you are maintaining your
objectivity, Ed.

I'm objective to a fault. When I said PDQ sites don't exist I meant they
don't exist like the Mac26 sites where people are excited and genuine.
Some catamaran site that makes it seem like the guy is just going
through the motions bored stiff is not really a site like the Mac sites
now is it?
