Hurricane force winds
Listen to the winds on this video. From the sound of it I'd say it was
close to hurricane force. And the Mac26X takes it in stride... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuXfJXjPOaQ Cheerio, Ed Gordon http://www.egordon873.homestead.com/drug.html |

Good god, is that the genoa sheet pushing into the standing rigging
that looks to be flapping in the breeze? Your mast will come down soon. RB 35s5 NY |

Oh, dear lord! The water is almost flat. Wind was probably less than 10 knots. The rigging needs some SERIOUS attention. It's not much fetch there. You gotta have more space for the wind to blow the water up into big waves. Just use your ears, you can hear how hard its blowing. If it was out at sea probably the waves would be forty or fifty feet. -- Cheerio, Ed Gordon http://www.egordon873.homestead.com/drug.html |
