I can't speak to the Army, but I well recall several ET petty officers I had working for me aboard ship who had IQs in the 140 to 160 range, and were definitely not "ignorant kids." And that wasn't even the destroyer Navy. I guess Bubbles agrees with John Kerry's assessment of our troops. My own personal experience with military people as patients is that they have no doubt about their mission and why they've chosen to serve. Most are intelligent, some are college-educated, and quite a few are just regular folks who've been called up as part of the National Guard activation. Some are officers, and some are simply enlisted men and women, but all are polite, respectful, thoughtful, and motivated. I always make it a point to thank them for serving our country. Max |
