A shipmate and I were on the Bart when a black fellow pulled a knife
on me. My buddy sitting a few rows back had won a big thick brass gong
at the festival. He saw what was happening and slamed the gong into
the guys head. We had to hold him 2-3 stations until we found a BART
cop to take him. Man thoses were the good ol days, we were docked in
Oakland. My bro was there on the USCG cutter Sherman WHEC 720 in
Almeda. Heard the Sherman just brought in a record load of cocaine...
30 tons or something like that. San Francisco is really cool town to
visit.

Clearly your friend didn't hit the guy hard enough, if you had to hold him
for several stations.

No...he hot him hard enough to knock him out cold. This was a nice

In Chicago, committing such crimes on the L-trains (elevated trains) is an
automatic felony, punishable by a minimum of the max penalty for such
crimes, and non-bargainable. Since instituting that law, the bad crap has
literally disappeared. Now--you might get mugged on the platform in a
station . . .

The sad part about my attacker is he most likely got off scott free
(cept the sore head), as our ship left the US before he made it to
trail. Never heard another word from any law enforcement as to what
happened to him..That was the year of the knife for me, I got stabbed
in the phillipines (Olongapo city) about 3 mo later...in the
leg ....he got away.

words. The woman paled and tried to ignore her. After a few stops, we
came to the second to the end of the line stop. This black guy who was
listening to his ipod, finally had enough, walked up to the crackhead
and said, "You... f*ckin crack ho. Shut you up er al slap you damn
ass. Can't f*ckin listin my tunes cause you, ya f*ck." He was standing
right over her. Man, that shut her up. She just slinked away.

Ah yes, the benign Bay Area, full of sweet, harmonious liberals who just

She claims that she couldn't come to an agreement on her upcoming contract
renegotiation, but think about it for a moment. Rosie is very
controversial, a loudmouth, vitriolic, and has had an ongoing repartee with
The Donald (Trump), all of which drove the ratings for the show through the
roof. So are they not going to give their superstar what she wants??? The
only reason they'd fail to extend her contract with the provisions she's
requested is that they want her gone. More recently she's made some
comments in other venues (not on the show) which were deemed offensive. For
example she spoke to a "women's" organization recently, the audience of
which was heavily represented by young girls in their teens, at which she
used excessive profanity and obscenity, grabbed her crotch, told the
audience Bush could kiss her ass, etc. I think the show's producers were
catching flak from the advertisers on that one. That's typically why
someone gets fired, a la Don Imus.
