Joe's Lie
Joe claims he races his little dink in organized events, but didn't he
already say he has a homemade rudder and tiller and sails that are not specific to the rig? Uh oh!!!!! Someone's full of **** and I don't want to mention any names but his initials are Joe Anchorbarge! BWAAHAAHAHHAHAHAHA! RB 35s5 NY |

Beer can races don't require you to have the correct stuff...youjust go have your boat rated with what it's got and off you go...did he say specifically that he was racing in class races? I never saw that...heck, at some of the places we've been SUnfish and Opti's have raced in the same beer can races as the big boats...it's all for fun...so I don't think he lied at all... |

Robs an idiot, I never said I won anything, and you are correct Katy. It's all about just getting out on the water sailing and having fun...seeing lots of other boats and people. Something Rob rarely does. What do you expect from a chump who said "I'm never going to post here again" many times? In his last farewell speech he expressed how much he liked my fine ocean going sailboat..he's lies so much he can't keep anything straight. Joe |

Well, if that's the case, then he can post a link to the local sailing association that rated his modified boat, and we can all see the listed rating for ourselves! I'm betting he can't do that. ... Huh? What? You have regattas where the boats have no rating? A few nuts in dinghy's, informally racing, is not a regatta. A regatta implies a formal sanctioned event. Joe has probably never participated in a real regatta in his whole sorry life. Certainly not in a boat he owns. He's some sort of a longshoreman or cable TV installer or something who lives in a semi-derelict old motor-sailor which he once surmised was built as an ocean racer. I said race, not regatta. I can't speak to what Joe does or doesn't do. Nor can I speak with authority about what you, Bob, or many others do or don't. I know and have sailed with a few people here, so I can attest to what they do or whether or not what they claim to be true is likely true or not. I notice you used the word "probably," which is wise, since you probably don't know either. And, I think we need to leave it up to Joe to tell the truth about whether or not he races on his boat. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com |

Excuse me, losers, but Joe specifically said REGATTA which means his
boat was in a sanctioned race with boats rated. Where is the handicap for his boat. Let's see the link. He's been totally busted unless he can show us some online linkage, I think he's been caught in a lie. Even the smallest regatta's on the LIS have online info and results. So, Joe? Can you back up what you say? I would actually be happy if you could. You already keep a blue water cruiser out of blue water, so it would be nice to know you at least race your dink. RB 35s5 NY |

RB 35s5 NY I'm sure it's out there somewhere on the net. Unless you would like to make a wager of 10,000 dollars that my boat did not race in a sanctioned race more than once. Placed OK as well. Either put up or shut up, or find it yourself. Joe |

to make a wager of 10,000 dollars How depressing. Joe, I really feel sorry for you, dude. And on more than one level of course. Since I'm one of only a few people here who have called you on your BS, I think you'd satisfy the doubters....if you could. The wager is as lame as your claims of sailing in regatta's and pending plans to take your houseboat into deep waters. Tell us some more stories tomorrow. I'm going to work on my dedicated home theatre now, which is costing about 10K, so I'll let you keep your little fantasy. Good night RB 35s5 NY |

Joe PS..Since you can not afford to take the wager, and you are so good at checking out photographs,,,if you look at the two plaques on top my head, on the bulkhead next to the VHF you will see the plaques they pass out. Also has the years. Good Luck Bubbles. http://sports.webshots.com/photo/269...63212926AtNrvq Joe |
