Don't you love it when your boat shivers?
"Joe" wrote in message oups.com... RedCloud shivers quite often, but it only has one frequency of shivering, the shiver is always the same, just different durations and strength. Anyone elses boat shiver? Joe If your boat was a thin rod it would have only one modality of "shivering" and one fundamental frequency of resonance. Your iron bucket is a complex structure with multiple modailities and a complex of harmonics. Lloyd |

Ship's laundry on a Frog ship? Bwahahahahahhahaha. Everybody knows the Frogs don't wash their clothes. They just keep dumping on powder and perfume to hide the stains and smell. You got me on that one...how true. PS: it's not "Shiver me/my Timber" it's "Shiver Yea Timbers" . Joe |

Wilbur Hubbard Rust is not strongle coupled to the mechanical structure. That shivering is good for knocking asny rust lose. |
