Default Let's see whose the one with the most sailing experince in thisgroup.

How do you "sail" a submarine? Do you run the sheets down the conning
tower?

Sailing has a broader meaning than just operating a sailboat. For
example, how about "to pass over in a ship" or "to manage the speed or
direction of a ship." Do they not call Navy personnel sailors? How many
sailing ships does the Navy have?

Such small minds here.
