NASA's Cassini spacecraft has revealed giant lakes on Saturn's
moon Titan, one of which - at 39,000 square miles - is bigger than
Lake Superior.

One of Titan's lakes compared with Lake Superior

The features were captured by Cassini's radar near Titan's north
pole.
Although scientists can't be certain they're actually liquid-filled,
"their
dark appearance in radar that indicates smoothness and their other
properties point to the presence of liquids", as the NASA press
release explains.

If that's so, then the lakes' contents are likely to be a mixture of
ethans and methane "given the conditions on Titan and the abundance
of methane and ethane gases and clouds in Titan's atmosphere".

Dr Jonathan Lunine, Cassini interdisciplinary scientist at the
University of Arizona, said: "We've long hypothesized about oceans
on Titan and now with multiple instruments we have a first indication
of seas that dwarf the lakes seen previously."

Cassini scientists are now planning a May flypast aimed at
confirming the titanic Lake Superior is indeed filled with liquid.

Could it be Neal's Coronado?

I think Capt. Neal's Coronado has plenty enough miles on her by now
that, if strung out towards Titan, they would probably reach all the way
there. It amazes me how somebody can have such a well-taken-care-of boat
with that many miles under her keel. I guess it's got to do with love,
devotion, pride ability and competence. Traits totally lacking in most
people here.

Why, if it can be believed, one fine gentleman here actually sold the
boat he loved and was proud of. He claimed he had to sell her because of
some disability. But, it turns out a mere slip of a woman, Katysails,
has a worse disability yet she seems to have no desire to sell her boat.
Imagine that, a man letting a woman outdo him. I'd never let that happen
to me no matter what. If I was a quadruple amputee I'd drag myself
aboard using only my teeth and get underway by hook or crook. I'd not
throw in the towel until I could no longer draw breath. But, I'm a real
man and this particular gentleman is a girly-man.

Giants lakes of ethanes and methane. Methane is a greenhouse gas and also an
excellent source of fuel.

So is it correct to conclude any of the following:

a. Dinsoaurs and vegetation existed at one time on Titan.

b. Cows created the methane.

c. Methane is a non renewable resource.

d. Titan is in the terminal stages of global warming.

e. Oil may be found on other planets.

f. Halliburton will move to Mars.

g. Man moved to earth from Titan after destroying the place.

Katy has a husband who can navigate while she has the conn. Old Thom only
has a dog, and not a seeing-eye one at that.
