Thanks for the compliments. It was fun to watch the boat in action, I have not had that perspective before. "Scotty" wrote: Better keep it locked up , Doug. It is. After all, that's how to keep honest people honest. As for the others, they are too busy stealing outboards to worry about a rowing- only dinghy. And Katysails old me that Joe wanted to buy it for a hundred bucks in the event of my demise! If anybody wants to copy this dinghy, I will be glad to send them the plans and the table of offsets. However, when discussing it over on rec-boats-building, there was little or no interest other than a few cranks who said "Why bother to build a light weight dinghy? Traditional designs are meant to be heavy and they work mush better that way (etc etc)" so I don't expect the world to beat a path to my door. Fresh Breezes- Doug King |

Are they DXF format? Could it be scaled up or down? Do you have a construction key other than the photo series? This isn't a complaint, the photos are better than the ones in many "how-to" boatbuilding books. He just goes out in the garage and slaps a bucket of stuff around ad voila!..instant boat... If more sailors rowed instead of relying on outboards, there would be fewer obese cruisers. So you're really Neal? -signed- Injun Ear (formerly known as Eagle Eye) |

Better living thru chemistry... definitely sounds like a good project for Capt JG. If more sailors rowed instead of relying on outboards, there would be fewer obese cruisers. So you're really Neal? Of course not, I'm really Doug. Just ask Bitty Bill... he's looked me up in the phone book. And Jeff is really Jax, and you're really Per. Ya can't tell the players without a program! -signed- Injun Ear (formerly known as Eagle Eye) |
