You left out "An Inconvenient Ruse."

That because I was referring to "movies that suck," not movies that have the
potential to bore one to the point of suicide.

Suicide wasn't necessary. I drank a half gallon of Jegermeister, wrapped
duck tape around my head, put on a straight jacket and overdosed on
Thorazine. I could have used more duck tape.

The tape blew off when the scumbag showed auto mileage requirements,
pointing to Communist China and stated "...this is why we do not ship
automobiles to China." My patience ended there. He's lying scum.

Yup, he's lying. China builds quite a few American cars under license from
US automakers. The old, boxy-style Jeep Cherokee of the 90s is an extremely
popular vehicle there, with waiting lines of several years to obtain one.
Furthermore, China will soon pass the USA as the world's major importer of
foreign oil.

But let's give old Algore some credit: as the man who "invented the
Internet," whose mother sang the "Look for the Union Label" song to him
years before it was written, and who watched his father plow rock-strewn
Tennessee soil behind a team of mules, he's always had a serious credibility
problem. Lying is nothing new for the poor *******.

So you believe that none of this is happening as a result of the largest
single virus the world has ever faced? Mankind.

We are probably the only critter that does not return what it took in some
form, Breed with reckless abandon even though we are "curing" disease meant
to keep our numbers low.. What other animal has hunted or expanded to
extinction other animals. No wonder there is aids and disaster and "global
Warming". The earths immune system is in high gear trying to kill of the most
dangerous virus of all.... us!
Preservation at this stage of the game is useless. Like quitting smoking
after you have the cancer. I for one am not even going to try. What is the
point. I am going to live big and wasteful... join me!

Never said that. I do believe that the warming of the planet is, at least
to some degree, due to the influence of mankind. But I also believe there
is probably nothing we can reasonably do about it. Nor do I believe it will
become critical prior to the next ice age.

We are probably the only critter that does not return what it took in some
form, Breed with reckless abandon even though we are "curing" disease
meant

extinction other animals.

Domestic cats have virtually eliminated the vole population in England. And
there are certain viruses and bacteria which, given the right set of
circumstances, could extinct homo sapiens.

No wonder there is aids and disaster and "global
Warming". The earths immune system is in high gear trying to kill of the

dangerous virus of all.... us!

That's a simplistic way of looking at the issue. The Earth will be continue
to flourish long after man is extinct, but there is no "immune" system
attempting to eliminate us. We are doing that to ourselves. Overpopulation
will eliminate a substantial percentage of the human population of the
planet long before global warming has any substantive effect. Bacteria
cultured on an agar plate ultimately expends its food supply and pollutes
its environment to the point of self-destruction. The Earth is a large agar
plate in a sense. We will kill ourselves, but doubtful by global warming.
I'd put my money on overpopulation or nuclear war.

Preservation at this stage of the game is useless. Like quitting smoking
after you have the cancer. I for one am not even going to try. What is the
point. I am going to live big and wasteful... join me!

Sadly you are right. The global warming drumbeaters would like us to be
hate ourselves for our excesses, but the vast majority of people won't get
on board.

exactly my point...

but there is no "immune" system

Are you sure of that?

When I was a youngster the population of the earth from the beginning of
time was 2.2 billion. In my lifetime it has quadrupled. I expect if my math
is correct that it will quadruple once again in half the time. If I live
another 20 years I should witness it. That is if the earths immune system has
not already wiped us out with a sexually transmitted disease. On this note
those whacky christian religious nits have a point. Abstinence will keep our
real god (earth) from killing us in the throws of passion.

I agree and still maintain that this is a function of our environmen,t or
simplisticly put ,the earths immune system.

Except for the fact that I see us as a virus and you see us as in control of
our destiny we agree.

All you need to do is stay away from Hatians, illegals, San Fransiscans and
most people in Maryland.

Not at all. I see us powerless to control our destiny thanks to the
inability of the human race to regulate its procreative urges. Where we
disagree is the means by which extinction will occur. You contend that the
Earth will take care of that. I contend that we'll inadvertently do it to
ourselves, while old Mother Earth sits back and laughs her continents off.
