wrote in message oups.com... Anybody know what is the height of the life lines on an Athena 38? TIA I googled it. I found a picture. See the guy standing up there. The lifelines are right about at his butt. I measured from the floor to my butt and added two inches because I'm shorter than him so it tells me the lifelines are 36" high. http://catamaransailing.com/Bareboat/athena_38.htm Cheers, Ellen |

I've sailed an Athena 38 and if I remember correctly the lifelines
were a standard 24" high. |

That coupled with the fact the shot was taken down low gives anyone the wrong perspective for estimating lifeline height. |

That's a big boat there. 24 inches is only two feet. Those life lines would look a lot closer to the deck if they were only two feet high. They're three feet high or I'm a hunchback of Notre Dame.... :-) Three feet. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. Cheers, Ellen |

I don't need glasses. I've sailed the boat. If they still
manufactured that hull I'd tell you to just go to fountaine-pajot's website and check the specs. |
