AMERICAN states where more people own guns have higher murder rates,
including murders of children, researchers at the Harvard School of
Public Health have reported.

That twisted statistic fails the address the possibility (PROBABILITY) that
states with a higher rate of firearm ownership have the weapons because of
the higher rates of violence, such as in states with large corrupt and
violent cities, e.g., Los Angeles, NY, Atlanta, Newark, Philadelphia,
Detroit, Saint Louis, and the top of the pack, Naw-leans.

It also goes contrary to the fact that states like Wyoming with very high
firearm ownership rates have miniscule violent crime.

The Boston buffoons are at it again.

Before you talk about "twisted statistics" you should consider some
reality: The murder rate in New York City is lower than Cheyenne, Wy.

New York is a low crime city. It has less crime per capita than almost any
other US city.

Boston is a good city for comparative purposes:

I plugged DC in there and compared to Denver:

http://www.areaconnect.com/crime/com...shington&s2=DC

The results are surprising. Denver is a high crime rate city. NYC has much
less crime than Denver. Bullets are flying all over the place in Colorado
and there is a fair amount of crime, especially in remote areas. I warn
everyone not to come to Colorado. Gunfights in traffic are a weekly
occurrence, school shootings are an annual event. Since the 1980's, in
almost every attempt to assasinate a sitting President in which bullets
flew, the shooter came from Colorado.

You claimed the New York was a violent city, and the Wyoming had a
"minuscule violent crime rate." I merely pointed out the NYC murder
rate was lower than Cheyenne's. So what's your problem?

My problem is with people that don't understand numbers and English.
