Boyd, DD514. 1966 Hurricane Eileen, winds of 75 miles an hour. For a young
kid, who didn't know any better, it was a fantastic, wild, exhilarating, and
happy experience.

Great shots of the boat iced up in the 50s. I realize you make a lot of ice
underway but I was surprised to see it so thick. When fishing we used to
break the ice off the rigging on a regular basis. Keep the center of gravity
down. It would build pretty well after a couple hours of steaming.
