I would. If they only caused their own death that would be one thing. They're allowed IMO.
What they ain't allowed is to go out there again and blunder around and need help again.
Somebody could die trying to rescue them next time. That's not right. People like that should
have a scarlet letter on their boat. Let them fend for themselves....
