I purchased a 25 x 36 Hinspergers Polar Boat Cover and on the
first installation noticed hundreds of small pinholes.
I reported this to the Seller and was advised this to be
normal and would NOT affect the service.
In each successive year the number of holes increased by
million and the old holes increased in size.
Now thwe holes are allowing rainwater through the cover.
I contacted Hinspergers Poly Industries several times
and received NO REPLY.
I am very disappointed with teh Honspergers Polar Boat Cover.
I seek advice and information re a better quality winter
boat cover.

Not sure John, But I'd never use the crappy Hinspergers Boat Covers
again.

You could post the telephone number here and we could all call and try
to get an answer / refund for you.

What did you pay for the leaking boat cover?

May I be so rude as to inquire what you paid for a leaky, rapidly-degrading
cover?

Certainly sounds substandard to moi. My current cover is a heavy, brown
cotton canvas custom affair, lined with flannel. It extends down the
topsides, bow and stern and keeps the boat clean and dry. It also breathes
fairly well--we've never had mildew issues until this last year when the
average winter temp was in the high 40s with lots of rain. I
re-waterproofed the cover this year, hopefully limiting the mildew issue,
should we have another warm, wet winter.

When this cover is kaput, we'll have a custom one made, by a local canvas
expert, of Sunbrella. They generally last about ten years, are fairly
expensive, but do a near-perfect job of keeping the boat clean and free of
ice and snow. Such covers for a 35' boat will generally run about $1600,
costing about $160 per year of service. To shrink-wrap the same boat would
cost roughly $450 per year. The custom cover seems a good value to me.
