Dang it gets cold at night. As soon as the sun fell I knew
it was a ''baked beans night'' ( helps one keep warm ) . For
some reason I'm not allowed to eat them at home ( go
figure), so I keep a few cans in the boat. Thought this one
up as I was sailing;
First I grilled a bunch of Spam slices, then cut them into
chunks. Put a pot of beans on the stove, add the chunks. Let
simmer for a while, or till you're hungry. Make a big peace
sign of Squirty Cheese on top ( add tomatoes if Haggy's
coming for dinner ). Eat right out of the pot. MmmMmm ,
damn , that's good!!!

Sounds delicious, but you need some starch. Can you use a
bigger pot & throw in some macaroni or rice?

Your clogging up your veins and arteries, Scotty.... Next thing you know you'll
end up like Old Tom. Circulation disease. Dementia. Disability. It's not too late
to eat healthy diet things. You can reverse some of the damage.

Cheers,
Ellen

Eat it right out of the pot? No, I'm sorry, but that just won't do.

A meal should be served on the proper dinnerware, especially if you go
to that much time and trouble to prepare it. Such a fine meal deserves
the proper presentation, and in this case, I'd recomend the traditional
trough.

roflao Good one, Walt! If I want grease, I'll eat a Caesar salad with
blackened chicken on top..... That's enough grease for anybody.

Cheers,
Ellen

That is not food, it is pure crap. Spam is full of salt, pig snouts and fat.
That squirty cheese is mostly oil so it can squirt. The baked beans are
mostly sugar. You just stuffed yourself with trans fats and sugars. Thank
God you didn't feed it to some poor animal or worse yet, throw it overboard.
