I have tremendous respect for kids and adults who choose to make themselves productive and work summers, evenings, and weekends in McDonalds, etc. Why do you show disrespect for people who choose to work in less-than-optimal jobs, rather than sit around worthlessly? If a person works, he has my respect. Max Thank you. McDonalds 1964-67. It was considered honorable work back then. Certainly, no one working with me considered it a career, but the experience was valuable. The concept of building on the opportunity in front of you seems to be lost today, primarily because kids are ridiculed for taking such jobs. It was not covered by minimum wage back then. I made sixty-five cents an hour for most of that time. Frank |
