For you perhaps.

My boat isn't a problem in winds under 40-45 knots. A steep chop on
the beam, however, can be annoying.

Booby, on the other hand, can't seem to handle his boat in a little
breeze.

We don't really want to go sailing unless it says there's a small craft
advisory or will so be one.

Gayidiot.com has spoken.
A small craft advisory can mean exciting sailing or VERY dangerous
conditions. No wonder G-Ganzy gets so little business.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday look like beer days, certainly won't need
two hands for the boat!

Cheers

Possibly. The conditions typically change that far in advance, although we
are starting to see lighter days. Also, there are lots of mico-climates on
the bay. It's typical to go from 5 kts to 25 kts in a matter of a couple of
minutes or less, depending on the area.
