My boat isn't a problem in winds under 40-45 knots. A steep chop on the beam, however, can be annoying. Booby, on the other hand, can't seem to handle his boat in a little breeze. |

We don't really want to go sailing unless it says there's a small craft

We don't really want to go sailing unless it says there's a small craft advisory or will so be one. Gayidiot.com has spoken. A small craft advisory can mean exciting sailing or VERY dangerous conditions. No wonder G-Ganzy gets so little business. RB 35s5 NY |

Possibly. The conditions typically change that far in advance, although we
are starting to see lighter days. Also, there are lots of mico-climates on the bay. It's typical to go from 5 kts to 25 kts in a matter of a couple of minutes or less, depending on the area. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Martin Baxter" wrote in message ... "Capt.
