I haven't checked in for a while but I see I haven't missed a thing. If anything, this group has become
even more sorry than it was the last time I visited. I don't know what's worse, the feminization of the
group or the dumbing down of it. Come to think of it, they are one and the same!

You guys need to grow some nads for Christ sake! Even Mooron has become a parody of himself.
Other than a couple of half hearted right jabs at gay ganz he's a limp wristed pretty boy. Bobsprit
is about as bad as he can get. His trolls are cookie cutter. Bad as they are, however, it seems like he can
still drag half the group up on one rusty old hook. Gay ganz is getting more paranoid and schizoid.... Katy
is sounding like a retard, Scotty seems to have retained his famous wit and is pretty much unchanged.
Jeff's serious, thoughtful and intelligent as usual but there's nobody here who has the wit to understand
what he's saying. Gilligan is floundering because his new audience is too ignorant to understand him.
Old Thom is incoherent, Binary Bill is more anal than ever, Ellen is a typical blonde - very sexy but dumb
as a box of rocks. Mike and Lady Barbara are in fantasy land. They don't even seem to know where they're
going. And, so it goes.

I always thought sailors were a rough and tumble lot who gave no quarter. What I see here means either
there are no sailors or if they sail they must ALL be gay or linguini-spined at best. Disgraceful!

And, there is more off-topic garbage here than ever before. Might as well be a general discussion group.
I guess that's about all one can expect from a group of wannabes who, other than what they read in a
"Cruising World" article, know nothing at all about sailing.

Don't even bother to reply because there's nothing of interest here to keep me here for longer than it
takes to put the finishing touches on this post.

You all should be ashamed of yourselves. I'm sure the former subscribers who once made this a great
group are all spinning in their cybergraves by now. Surely word has gotten back to them about the
fall of alt.sailing.asa. It has become just another in thousands of worthless and aimlessly wandering
groups frequented by losers, low-life's and no-life's.

I'm off to do some more sailing. I've probably put in more miles this year than all of you pretenders
combined. Even if I should get run over by an ocean liner and go straight to Davey Jones locker I'll be
better off than suffering the slow death that's evident here. A pox to you all.
