Ballast Correction
Is said a CF of Gold was over 200 lbs..I't not. Its 1204 lbs
Iridum would make a better ballest if you need compact ballast at 1383 a CF. Then Gold, Mercury, Lead. My favorite... fish scrap 45 lbs CF Joe |

Anyway, 1204 is over 200, so it was right the 1st time ;) Iridum would make a better ballest if you need compact ballast at 1383 a CF. Surprisingly, plutonium is only a little bit more dense than gold, but platinum is about 10% more. Gold is almost twice as dense as lead, and lead is half again as dense as iron. Then Gold, Mercury, Lead. Tungsten? Thorium? Or one of my favorites, Ytterbium? My favorite... fish scrap 45 lbs CF Not gonna be very effective ballast if it's less dense than water. Make good flotation though, and even better as bait for shootin' cats. DSK |
