Max At the risk of upsetting Gilly...yes, I pitched 1st grade here for quite a few years then switched to catching when my shoulder started showing some strain. Still needed a good arm but not every throw. I should show you my knuckles from reaching. Crickey! That's cricket not baseball. |

Still needed a good arm but not every throw. I pitched in the 1st grade too. What's your point? :-) I was a catcher too, in college. I was a walk-on, but got into a few games before my knees began to give me trouble. My last game was against Purdue University, when I threw out four players attempting to steal second. Like you, my arm was good but not for the sort of duty cycle a pitcher experiences. Max Where'd you play Max? Indiana University. Max |

Outstanding fiction. Max Funny, I was just searching through my stationary cupboard for my portfolio on a course I did a few years back and spotted a whole buch of Spot books hidden in the back. There were also a bunch of Jan Pienkowski's popup books that my wife has obviously kept as a reminder of all the fun we and the kids had when they were learning to read. There are also illustrated copies of Around the World in Eighty Days, Heidi, The Call of the Wild, Tom Sawyer and a few others. Great times, almost a pity to see them grow into adults. Grandchildren are a nice compensation for your kids growing up. Max |
