Sorry, I already gave awa the drive turbine for the prairie masker. That was a cute little bucket wheel. Regards Doug King We had similar happenings when we were using the radio fence in Chopper. The deer get used to the fact that the dog will or can only go so fae, and since most communities now have strict orinances about loose dogs, deer are losing their inate fear of them. Actually, you'd be surprised at what some animals will do. My brother had a small farm with some chickens and sheep, 3 dogs, and five cats. One dog named "Big", a big playful ball of fur who looked like a mix of black lab and something really hairy would run out into the yard and play with the deer. They would chase him around the yard for awhile, and then he would chase them for awhile. When they got tired, they would lay down together. But Big hated sheep. One of his cats (whose name I forgot) would go hang out with wild turkeys he found in the woods. Once in awhile as long as the dogs were in the house he would lead them down into the yard like a gaggle of geese and he was their mother. That same cat would kill squirrels and leave them on the deck. |

Squirrels, flea ridden rats with bushy tails, shoot'em I say. You can have a whole afternoon of fun with a dollars worth of pellets, a decent air rifle and a half dozen of your favourite cold ones. Little *******s ruined most of my pepper crop one year, they'd take just one or two bites out of each pepper and then move on down the row to the next plant... one of these years I'm going to plant habaneros and see what that does to them! Cheers Marty Go to a gardening shop and get a spray bottle of stuff that has wolf anal gland scent in it and spray it around the perimeter of the garden and down your mulch rows...don't get it on you, though...stuff is tres nastee...I was amazed at how well it kept the rodents out of my garden...didn't work on the chickens, though...they must have a different method of detecting enemies than the sense of smell because it didn't seem to bother them..they'd peck the tomatoes..finally just strung some chicken wire around that area to keep them out since they left everything else alone... |

I've never had a problem with them before, but I can't leave em alone now. They done thousands in damage already, including 3 car wiring systems ($1,350 damage on a 2 year old Grand Prix). They are in my house, running past us in the living room, gym, etc., having parties in the attic. They taunt me and throw nut shells at me from above - they have to go! Scout |

Scout that's different....you didn't say they had moved in kit and kaboodle...I thought you were talking about the normal kind that live in trees... |

They're prime carriers of the plague. You might want to be careful when
