The ones I posted are the accepted ones now. Look at my link. It shows them on the globe. There are five oceans if you combine north and south Atlantic and Pacific but they're separate now. Cheers, Ellen The text I used was copyright 2002 and is the leading text for Earth Science in the USA...approved by the National Geographic Society...and the 7 seas is a euphemism for all the large bodies of water...there is the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea, the North Sea, etc. And of course, we can't forget the great inland seas...the Great Lakes.... |
