I don't know. Do you have an FM radio? The only issue is the
location of your antenna. If you have a masthead antenna, it may be
too far. I use one in my car and it works OK, but I have to change
frequencies on a long drive.

That unit relays an Ipod's signal into an FM transmission that is
picked up by your boat's stereo. It's very low power and works best
when the reciever's antenna is close, such as in a car. You need to
find a station on the transmitter and stereop that is weak or not in
use. You also lose the Ipod music quality which is reduced from near CD
quality to FM level sound quality. Most people find this acceptable,
but you can buy a new boat radio for 100 dollars that will allow your
ipod to plug in directly and avoid the whole issue. In addition you can
also connect a Sirius and XM radio, which you may eventually prefer to
the Ipod overall. You can even plug in a small TV as pictured here
aboard my vessel.
