The Value of this Group

The Value of the group lies in its ability to bring forth
interesting questions for dicusssion, to fill in the little
gaps in our knowledge, and spin off in other interesting
directions.

I want to tell you all that I am damn proud of you many
outstanding sailors--Jeff, Joe, Doug, Steve, Ol Thom, Jon, CM,
Dave to name but a few, you fine sharp developing sailors like
Scout and Scotty. We have people like EdChell who has gone on,
not to leave Oz underrepresented with that sniper Oz1, and we even
have the occassional swabbie blwoing snot out of his nose in an
embarassing manner. THe Swabbie who saw action in his bath tub
with its flatscreem--from swabbing in the toilet and perhaps the
bathtub and on to bigger and greater things kept at the dock.

If he could ever meet some few of us on the water somewhere that
would be something. The coin toss could read? He did it and was
accepted, or might forever remain a single sphash of a fish. Might
like to rate him Able [Limited Sail] But it is a tall order for the
SWAB.
And he doesnt seem too keen to learn from the best. Better for him
to get it wrong in private and never learn how to do it right from the
start.

Displaying some skill in public among those easgoing but critical guys!

He is so afraid they will make fun of him. That would earn him some
real
points. Just show some backbone, drop the pompus act and open your
ears, keep your trap shut for a while at first and hang with the big
boys/boats
and leave the kiddies and girlies at home to learn how its done.

The weathers getting rougher this month. Time for a last splash.
Bring your
rolaids and your bonine. I see wind coming back to back--a strong
easterly and
a a bit calmer westerly a day or so later.. Figure three days and you
have to be
ready to jump at the gun for a last big dash. Drop me a email if you
are interested.

Wooooooooooooo.... that was one slimey wet mackeral slap!

Bwahahahahahahahahaaaa... Well Done!

A Challenge Issued!

Will Bobsprit rise to the challenge.... or retain his current standing with
excuses??

Odds are 10 to1 he backs out.... word on the dock is he has a mouth to
spinal column ratio defincency. Word is he can talk the talk but not walk
the walk!
They say he needs to seek permission from his wife.... instead of having her
blessings. It's claimed that he has a feminine manner.

I'm bracing myself for further disappointment from Bobsprit..... it's been
his signature now for many months.

:-)
