Default Who Remembers?

To lay a reef on the tomb of the unknown every year?
To render honors to the USS Arizona?
To comfort and show respect to mass murdered citizens?

Not some liberial little bitch calling it a photo opp.

This is what the liberal Democrats have to offer to fix the problem?
Spitting on a memorial service?

Blaming Bush that a massive private construction project is not
finished in 5 years.

And Rob daddy calls all excited...........sheeeeze you people are
desperate.

And, the right-wingnuts claim that invading a country that had nothing to
with 9/11 is going to help us win the war against the terrorists will
certainly "solve" the problem.

Not excited.. It's shame for a country and it's leaders who have lied
and committed atrocities. Joe, I find it so very depressing that you
can't see this president for what he is.
Joe, it's a disaster. You were lied to. No WMD's. No real effort to
catch Bin Laden. The free distruction of Bin Ladin's greatest enemy.
Attempts to divide America successful. Attempts to generate fear
successful. No protection against phoney gas hikes, and lie after lie
after lie along with the USA taking part in the torture of human
beings. The complete breakdown of foreign relations. Terrorism at an
ALL TIME HIGH. Been to Europe lately? We're an international joke.
YOUR president Bush. At this point most of the country now gets it. But
don't worry. Scotty's on your side.

Phoney gas hikes...Hey do you think over 300 platforms and drilling
rigs looking like this after Katrina, and Rita might have had something
to do with it?

That's not why your president claimed we needed to invade Iraq. He said
they had WMDs ready to be deployed, so we must invade. He spent milions
and millions on the goose chase. He and his friends made money and many
people died.
Grow up, Joe. Stop defending a killer because he stamped "republican"
on his arm.

Phoney gas hikes...Hey do you think over 300 platforms and drilling

Did you see the oil company profits margins, Joe? Does THAT look like
the result of Katrina or just an excuse to hike prices almost 30%
beyond what was required?
Grow up, Joe. You were stolen from.

Aren't you embarassed to show that link? What support? Who's doing most
of the fighting and why? What was that reason for invasion again? Oh,
right. WMDs.

Joe, Americans are dying daily in terrorist attacks. An ALL TIME HIGH.
Sad that you only care about YOUR life HERE, but some people actually
think beyond that.

I guess you haven't been out of the country much. I have. It's a total
shame what the image of the USA has become worldwide. But Bush can't be
to blame, right? It's Jimmy Carter's fault, right?
Grow up, Joe. Your president has damaged a great country.

Terrifying and brainless beyond words that you think that this has
anything to do with parties. Bush is no republican and I doubt you even
know what a REAL republican is or how horrified they are that Bush has
corrupted their beliefs.
Grow up, Joe.

This is most disturbing. Bubbles and I are in agreement on a
political/economic issue.

What's next? Dogs and cats living together? Gays dating straights? New
England states becoming 'red.'

Perhaps, but what controls gasoline prices at the pumps has less to do with
supply and demand than with speculation in the petroleum futures market.
When Katrina struck the south coastal states and wrecked some oil rigs, we
already had supplies that could sustain the current consumption levels for
well over three months. If prices had risen 15 cents or so--which would
have been appropriate--the supply reserves would have been sufficient for a
few months more. By then the importation levels from the Middle East (where
we only buy about 10% of our crude) and from South America (where we buy
substantially more) could have easily offset the supply losses due to
Katrina (less than 1% of our overall crude supply). BUT, the speculators
figured that Katrina gave them a golden opportunity to realize some serious
money on the futures market, and they were right. Of course this was all at
the expense of the US consumer. Big oil reaped monster profits while the
middle and lower classes suffered. And our 'gummint' did nothing to curb
the process; rather some powerful people no doubt realized some substantial
profits as well. I don't want to mention any names, but one such investor's
initials are George W. Bush.

The great American dream come true.

Investors invest to make profits....right? The Bush family was pushing
barges when the oil field was flat on it's face in the late 80's and
90's, what they should sell before they make a profit again?

How much of that profit will be re-invested in exploration (like the
biggest find in decades in the Gulf a few weeks ago) which is great for
Houston. I saw the oil filed go to **** in the early 90 and the rest of
the nation cared less about Houston. Did you know Chevron will put out
about 5 billion dollars to get that oil they just discovered to shore?

Record profits in oil are good for Texas. You should see all the ads
for people wanted in the oil patch..it's a regular boom! Yeeee haaaa!
Black Gold, Texas Tea!

And BTW we are still paying much much less then most or the world for
our gasoline.

You need to get in the right century. There were no WMDs at the time of the
second gulf war. We claimed that he had them or in the case of nukes was
about to have them. That was total bs. We went to war for the wrong reasons,
a war of choice rather than necessity. Reminds me of our reasons for going
to Vietnam.

Bushco claimed that there was a relationship between him and bin Laden's
followers. Completely untrue, according to every credible source then and
now.

Our trains, chemical plants to name just two things and there are many
others including *our embassys* are completely vulnerable. Now we're relying
on the Syrians to protect us????

Bushco and the right wingnuts sure are spending the billions wisely... NOT.
