I'd like to see Edwards go again. I liked him better than Kerry. Definitely
like Obama, but he's not quite ready. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Maxprop" wrote in message nk.net... "Capt. JG" wrote in message ... I don't think she will be either. I hope it's not Kerry again. I'd like to see Gore take another shot, but I doubt that as well. The dems would be wise to run someone like Evan Bayh, former governor of Indiana. He's perceived as a centrist, but his voting record tends to be left of center. Clean cut, good looking, well-spoken, and his father was a pillar of the democratic party of the 60s. Even Barak Obama of Illinois would be a better choice than Gore, who is generally considered damaged goods since his defeat in 2000. Max |

Gulliani will most likely be the Republican, he's free of the scandal
racked Bush regime stigma and can run as a right-winger outsider. Clinton can't win against that. You need someone like Mark Warner who has very little baggage. But I wouldn't count out Al Gore, he lost to Geroge Bush by one supreme court judge last time. How many states use the Republican leaning Dibolt machines? katy wrote: Capt. Well, Gulliani does have the ex-wife baggage. It was a pretty messy divorce,
as I recall. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com wrote in message oups.com... You can kiss tort reform goodbye if he ever occupies the White House. Obama is a fresh face and about as articulate as anyone in Washington these days. He's also black, but with almost no overriding black mannerisms, which would not appeal, of course, to the redneck side of the country, but it wouldn't offend them quite as much. You may be right--he might need more seasoning to become thoroughly corrupt like most Washington politicos. Max |
