People here have lost touch with sailing

The one that says sailing is like a bar, except that you sit in the drink
occasionally?

I think you people have lost touch with sailing. You talk mostly about
everything but
sailing and when you talk about boats you talk about batteries and wires
and motors
and all kinds of other things that aren't sailing at all. Is there a news
group that
somebody here knows about that's really a sailboat newsgroup? Thanks.

Cheers,
Ellen

Time for Scotty to repost the dockside bar analogy.

No the one that talks about the rest of the patrons tolerating the
loudmouth braggart that also has a part time job as the bar's janitor.

By the way, very nice boat, hope it serves you well.

Thanks Frank. We went on a "full moon" sail last night. It was great.

And apparently one with some gender issues, as (s)he previously posted as
Ralph Waldo Emerson as well as Silver Girl. And probably under other nyms
on
messages I've long since deleted.

Who knows? Maybe they were a soul mates, that somehow didn't get lost at
sea on some beautiful beach in the Caribbean...or Punch and Judy.

In lieu of the real thing most likely... Like you, I find real love is phantasmagoria.
