Alternatively if you want a 'simple' hull to build, check out George Buehler's Web site (www.georgebuehler.com). He has a couple designs around the 30' mark which can be built either with plywood hulls or plank. Plans for a few of his designs are in his book. The book is worth having regardless of the plans. Thanks Peter, Will look up the Herreshoff H28 and George Buehler's website. Plans for the H28 were published in 'The Rudder' a long time ago IIRC. I have a copy somewhere, suspect the copyright is still valid so I won't post them, but if you were interested I'll dig out the volume & give you the ISBN. A library should be able to track down a copy from there. George's 'Emily' is a pretty easy build, I think. PDW |
