![]() Bet your thankful for AC this Summer back there. I've used my House AC more this year than all the other years combined. You win that bet. The heat index for most of this week was 100-105 degrees. At least I was able to spend some time aboard and let a friend sleep aboard when her power went out in Astoria. On more "normally" hot days the A/C is nice when we're done with a sail. Packing up the main and cleaning up usually takes a while, so it's nice to finish up below in a cool cabin with an ice cold drink. Those windless days mean the boat is more usable for BBQ as well. I have to laugh when I think of poor Dave or Scotty Vermon hanging on a hook with no A/C days like yesterday. They sure are "roughing it!" RB 35s5 NY |
