![]() "Charlie Morgan" wrote in message ... That boat was much newer than yours and after two years on the market, finally sold for 42,500. NO clues needed. Once again your cluelessness is apparent. Age is virtually irrelevant in older boats. Condition, equipment, upgrades, and maintenance are everything. Then again you'd probably by a beat up two-year old boat because it was newer than an immaculate five-year old one with loads of extras. That boat had a big advantage over yours because they didn't have to find someone who liked the boat and could also accept a hull that had been painted green. That would turn off a lot of potential buyers as surely as if it was painted hot pink. Flag blue and forest green are the two most popular topside colors today, according to Practical Sailor. Tartan hasn't sold more than a handful of white hulls in the past six years. Clueless as usual. I hear that there has been so much attention being paid, and mention made, that BB is thinking about coming back to ASA. He didn't realise that everyone would miss him so much. He thought they would be glad he left. That's apparently not the case. Keep yapping. We miss him like the bubonic plague, smallpox, and polio. Max |
