Heart of Gold-Nav Station
Here's the nav station...prior to addition of Ipod, but showing from
left to right... 1) White panel is AC/Heat control and programming. 2) Standard VHF (Ram + Mic in cockpit) 3) Fire boy auto Extinguisher for engine area-Round panel 4) Sony CD player 5) 3 battery meter 6) 12 Volt plug 7) Vertical switches control interior lights for three cabins and galley. 8) Green lit panel is all systems control for DC. AC located below (not shown) http://members.aol.com/bobsprit/images/navnavyweb.jpg On the table is a portable Sony DVD/TV and WP Binoculars. Just visible under the fully extended nav table is a handheld VHF and handheld mapping GPS. This is a 16 year old boat. Note the great condition of all surfaces. Virtually no scratches or wear at all. With the table retracted, the storage tray is exposed. Fully extended it also hinges up for more storage. Beneath is a huge cabinet as well and an area for the charts, though we have a chartbook...and a couple of Red Lobster place mats that show our area! Not one window leaks and all doors shut snugly. Fantastic!!!! Coming soon, Garmin GPS 192c, which I have not unpacked yet. RB 35s5 NY |

No wonder you never leave the dock. Not one window leaks and all doors shut snugly. Fantastic!!!! Coming soon, Garmin GPS 192c, which I have not unpacked yet. RB 35s5 NY |

How long is that extension cord? IIRC, it *is* waterproof since it lives in the water... Extention cord??? ON a boat??? BWAHAHAHAHA! What happens to these when the boat heels? Ummm...it leans over? We have CABINETS aboard to keep gear from falling. Do you need a diagram?? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Those are your "charts"? Yep, those place mats were published by Maptech and are also laminated for easy cleanup after dining! BWAHAHAHAHAHA! RB 35s5 NY |

Cold Spring Harbor is a line of sight sail, but I suppose a thick fog could fly in! To be honest, most of the stuff aboard was given to me by the club. In other words: Leftovers. RB 35s5 NY |

Where is the Navigation equipment? raday display, P rulers, dividers, chronometer, sextant, pencils, GPS display, barometer, DTS calculator, compass or anything related to navigation? Be carefull leaning back on that comfy stool, looks like it is cast into the hull and could rip out with ease. You should have bought the 36.7 first, not as much wasted space. Joe RB 35s5 NY |

A picture is indeed worth a thousand words. Joe -- Scott Vernon Plowville Pa _/)__/)_/)_ |

given to me by the club. In other words: Leftovers So your "club" sells electronics? Of course. The condo works with the Boatmax service dept. which is a dealer for just about everything. Members pay less for just about everything that way, from fenders and lines to radar. RB 35s5 NY |

Where is the Navigation equipment? raday display, P rulers, dividers, chronometer, sextant, pencils, GPS display, barometer, DTS calculator, compass or anything related to navigation? Do you mean to say that all of that stuff should be out lying around and not put away? You leave all of that just sitting on the nav table. FYI, we have a Garmin 192c to be installed. I haven't made a move putting the radar in yet. Be carefull leaning back on that comfy stool, looks like it is cast into the hull and could rip out with ease. Hmmm. The thing doesn't budge. I don't like the stool though. You should have bought the 36.7 first, not as much wasted space. Puh-lease! It's almost identical interior and space layout from P. Starck. My aft cabin is larger, the 36.7 has a larger V. We looked at the 36s7..but the small aft cabin killed it for us. Nice boat otherwise. Interesting that it rates a bit slower than our boat in some places...and only a bit faster in others, but I bet the deep keel version is faster than our wing. RB 35s5 NY |
