![]() "Reverend Crantz" wrote in message . .. He claims there's more to life than sailing. I agree. For the most part sailing is for loners, losers and never-do-wells. Go to any marina and look at the trophy boats sitting for months on end. For each boat there is a fool who has either mortgaged his life away for it or just simply worked too much. There are always exceptions, but you have to go offshore to find them. So true, BC. That is why I bought a smaller, less expensive ( cheaper) boat, which I *was* able to sail a lot more than what seems to be normal. However, this year some different commitments came up which keep pushing my launch later and later. Has nothing to do with money. Don't worry, he bought a Kia Sedona to pile chickens and tires into. They are going cheap and are plentiful! I have a pair of old pick up trucks for that. -- Scotty ''One who never gets out of the Sound cannot, with any degree of credibility, comment on the courage of fellow sailors'' ....F.B. |
