Just got back from a trip to Baytown to deliver a brand spanking new
C&C 121 Express.

Was first to pop her cherry, even before the new owner.

Pretty boat, the wheel is bigger than Robs boat. Has a neat IO diesel
main engine, looks like an outboard sticking out the bottom just aft
the wing.

BTW no more C&C smile on this one anyway, has a 1/4" thick rubber
gasket were the wing keel bolts on. Fast boat.

Don't know, all we did we unroll the jib and motor sailed, all pretty
much downwind.
I might go out this weekend with the new owner and find out. Well laid
out boat, sorta like Rob's but for regular size people, not migits.
Kinda beamy for a 40 ftr IMO..13 maybe 14 ft.

Too bad the 121 has smaller sleeping spaces and less headroom.
Doh!
99 is still my favorite and we'd have given it more consideration if
the not for the draft and dangerous aft section.

Dangerious aft section? doo tell.IIRC your boat has a couple theater
type blue velvet ropes aft and thats it. The 99 can drain a swamping
wave fast and recover.... the 35s5?

Still the whole bunch are just fragile day sailors IMO.
Could you imagine trying to cruise on one of these boats?
