Way better than anything bubbles has on his plastic French throw away
boat.

1942 Chelsea Bridge clock off the USS Oklahoma City CLG 5.

Capt Neal was correct, buy a fan with old fashion ball bearings that
can be oiled and you have a fan that never fails. I chose the 1939
Emerson with the Patd. Parker blades. Better than any modern fan.

I bet the quartermasters on the Okie City called it a clock.

BTW I served with a guy who was on that ship off the coast
of Viet Nam. Small world.

Smaller even, I was on the line handling party to towed her to

If it's on Rob's boat it's a cheap quartz clock...on RedCloud it's a
Chronometer.

Sure make noting time in the logs easy. has a 10" face, I'd like to
find the matching barometer at a decent price.

And that's how you got the clock?

Both the ships I was stationed aboard have been melted down
for razor blades, that makes me an old geezer now.

It's a long story but yes, with permission. Also had the teak deck
grating the helmsman stood on.

Don't feel bad mine's on the bottom of the Atlantic. Hopefully the
fish will enjoy her. Way to deep for most divers.

Bubbles has no need to record correct times, it isn't like he ever sails
anywhere.

Bubbles' clock is permanently set to 'dinner time'.

Oh yes, he needs to know the time so he doesn't miss his
favorite programs on his investment-grade entertainment system.

And you can hear the alarm ring, anywhere he goes!

. . . which is a straight line of minimal distance between his computer and
the dinner table.

Max,

I do not think minimal distance is correct when refering to Brody's
dash to the troff. The path of least resistance would be the proper
term.
