1976 catalina 27 tall rig


My first boat was a Catalina 27 standard rig with a shoal draft. She
was a 1973 boat and pretty tired, but for 5 years we had a great time
with her. I paid just 5K for her and couldn't believe I was sailing
around for so little money. The 27 and 30 have certainly made a lot of
people fall in love with sailing.

This is my current boat...a Beneteau 35s5 named Heart of Gold which we
are really enjoying here on the Long Island Sound...
