Well, it's interesting, as both a general phenomenon and in respect to my personality. I certainly have a tendency to ramble on and on, in love with the sound of my own voice, in response to somebody else's statement. However, I really hestitate to just start pontificating ab initio because I feel like it. Ronnie started/kept our Zombie Princess blog (http://zombieprincess.blogspot.com) and I could have posted to it as often as I chose; but I generally chose not to. I don't think I'll do it for this one, either. I just wanted to create an ID for blogspot so I could comment to my daughter's blog of her upcoming term at boarding school (http://summerhillchloe.blogspot.com). I'm just not comfortable blogging. Not sure why. Maybe that'll change, maybe not. It takes time away from other things I could be doing. Some people take blogging very serious to the point of firing employees over statements they've made or opinions they've expressed in their blogs. My personal thought is why would anyone want to be that exposed on the Internet? I don't mean just general likes, dislikes, etc, but the real nitty gritty stuff that some feel compelled to reveal. |

When he found out I was planning to buy one, my father in law said he would pay for it if he could have design control. He (deceased now) was a John Deere industrial dealer for many years. He bought it out of his ad budget. And the kid, at this time my only grandchild. Frank |

Alarming, even if it was tax deductible..... |

Came from North sails and they had a loft in New Orleans. Too bad the Carpal Tunnel got you. From what we have to pay to get our standard groomed these days you would be doing fine. Frank |

I like the spinnaker. Shouldn't it be John Deere green?

Frank I was doing fine. Now I do Chopper and that's it...there's a groom shop right around the corner and for giggles I went in to see what it costs in the Hampton Roads...gag...90 bucks for a skin job...not een any scissoring...I was charging 60 for hand scissoring when I quit. Mr Sails took him in once to PetSmart back in Grand Rapids, because he wanted to surprise me and save me some trouble...I gagged at what they did, took Chopper down to the workroom and redid him completely.... The big cost on the sail was the yards and yards of pink...we were sharing a finger dock with Max at the time...he would probably have moved...was thinking about doing the canvas raspeberry, too, but Mr Sails nixed that one... |
