Parts of it killed by typhoon:

1) The typhoon killed of parts of the reef.

2)Typhoons are caused by global warming.

3) Therefore, mankind has killed the reef.

4) If a witch floats, burn the duck!

A reef is a bunch of ROCKS. You can't kill rocks.

Dumbest thing I ever heard.

Reefs are made of coral, the rock part opf it is only the non-living
deposits of the coral animal, a polyp. Of the coral that produced
the reef dies, the reef itslef dies, stops building and stops
functioning, which destroys a whole habitat....and you're a sailor
with so little respect for where you sail?

The Great Barrier Reef is a living organism, quite possibly the largest
on the planet, in that context.

If you've ever dived it - you'll appreciate why 'they' call it the 8th
wonder of the world.

Isn't the world's largest organism some fungus colony or a stand of aspen
trees in Utah?

Glory!

The GBR is more than one organism. It is properly classified as a
superorgasm.

The Aspen trees in Utah are all from one root.
