OT-ski trip

Just got back from Colorado ski trip. Ironically, with all the
complaints about warm weather, we had the coldest week of the winter
in Winter Park, CO. sub zero lows and sub freezing highs each day. And
the best snow I've ever experienced out there with an average of about
6" new each day. Odd for March.

However, I did miss the bikini babes that usually adorn the slopes
during our spring trip.

During my years as a professional ski patrolman at Breckenridge, we often
had cold weather in March (0 to 20 below, F). And they could be closely
followed by 40s and corn. One never knew quite how to dress for the day.

I've done twelve March trips and never hit it (extreme cold) until
this one. Almost left the heavy ski gear home, but got the six day
forecast the day before we left. I like it much better. Don't have
to go through that spring afternoon slush with overnight refreeze that
gives you morning ice bolders to pick around on the ungroomed trails.
Much better.
